Teacher Resources

Currently, many of my teaching resources–for the workshops I teach and for my own students in the English classes I teach–are at my workshop wiki and on my class wiki.

I’m still trying to decipher how I want to organize all this digital content. Some day, I will hopefully devise a well-organized system where I can easily summon a hand-out without having to dig through piles, drawers, files, and moldy coffee cups.

Random Files I’m stashing here for now:

ePortfolio Resources: Here are some of the documents I’ve created to scaffold my students as we create ePortfolios that serve both as showcase and as assessment of their progress toward learning standards.

Links: This is a hodgepodge of links–some helpful to teachers, others helpful to students, many great for both.

  • EdTechTalk & Teachers Teaching Teachers: Thanks to Susan Ettenheim for alerting me to these sites. They are incredible: a global collaboration on edtech tools, lessons, and projects. One of my favorites pieces from the Teachers’ site is the 15-week blogging unit being planned by a group of Writing Project teachers across the country.
